ah School starts again!

Well sorry for the no posty posty for the past little while folks!

You can thank my professors for that, as school started in full swing on Sept 9th and I have not had a creative thought in my brain since then, because all brain power has been deverted to school work.

So here is a little up date as to what is going on in our family.

Hailey has developed herself a crush on Justin Bieber. She spent a solid week trying to win tickets to his concert through the local radio station. In the end she did not end up with any tickets, but did get a performance from Jason Bieber and his back up singer Lindsay. We were glad we were able to bring a little laughter to her that night as not being able to go to the concert crushed our little Hailey's heart.

Wyatt is growing like a weed! Has met a few milestones but has yet to master them, Rolling over from his front to his back is one of them, it takes some coxing but sooner than later he will have it under his belt.

Lindsay is enjoying every minute being at home, she has found her stride again at being a new Mom, and is not wanting this time to ever end.

As for me, school, school, basement is all that is going through my head these days. This year is proving to be more challenging than the last, but that just comes with the territory. I am lucky to have such a great family that support me so much, without them I do not know if I could handle all the stress.

Keep your eyes glued to the blog as a good "photographer" friend of mine is going to be taking some nice family shots for us in this nice fall weather we are having here. Can't wait!!!

Take care and enjoy hearing from any or all of you.

  1. Hi Super Hero Dad,
Great to hear from you again. Your plate is certanly more than full, but thank goodness with many good happenings.
It was good that you were able to some how figure in a consolation prize for Hailey and her Jason Bieber fettish. Imagine, Lindsay doing back-up. Now if that isn't a super mom activity to do, I don't know what is. Yahoo! That must have been wonderful to watch and witness.
So Wyatt is becoming a "Rockin' Roller", too. We all knew it would be just a matter of time. Your brilliant son,eh?
I'll bet Lindsay has found her stride again, and is cherishing every minute she has at home, being able to have flex hours around Wyatt's schedule and the pace of it more in her control. That's for sure a gift to appreciate while she has it. :)
It sounds like you are up to your eyeballs in alligators, with school demands and the basement....just remember to breathe and your family wants you in one Healthy piece...that being more important than anything. A super hero dad you are without question...but in order to fulfill that role, some other projects may have to be prioritized a little differently so you can be alive to enjoy them, if you know what I mean.
    With love and best wishes,
    Your father-in-law Pete and Laura
