Guys
if and when you get share the adventure of pregnancy with your
wife/girlfriend/partner/common-law (sorry if I have forgotten
anyone), here is a simple word of advice to keep her happy with a
good nights sleep "Pillows".
I am not talking about pillows for just her head.
In our bed it was like the pillows started to replicate and have offspring of their own. Soon our already pillow top mattress covered with a duvet top was topped off with pillows upon pillows. Everyone in the house was demoted to a one pillow maximum for the cause. Just so that Lindsay would have a good nights sleep.
She had pillows behind her back, under her baby belly. Once she constructed a square frame of pillows with a hole in the middle, so that she could place the baby belly in the hole to give herself the illusion of sleeping on her stomach, That night I am pretty sure I was demoted to zero pillows.
For 6 of the 9 months I was a big spoon to a wall of pillows down the middle of the bed.
Now this is just a small sacrifice you have to make, as she is the one creating life!
So no complaints were had by me and I am in no way complaining with this post. More so trying to forewarn future spouses/common law/Dads out there to arm themselves with this little jewel because a good nights sleep for her means a good nights sleep for you too.

Sleep is a rare commodity not only during pregnancy but I'm sure you are now realizing during parenthood. In about 10 or 12 years from now you may be able to sleep in again and enjoy those late weekend "slow rises".(lol)
